We are a community-based partnership committed to establishing a smoke-free environment within the Racine and Kenosha, Wisconsin counties. Our outreach efforts are primarily prevention-based, health promotion focused and coordinated by nurses in response to the growing concern of persistent health disparities that face our community, especially in the area of tobacco addiction. Committed to the health of individuals, family and community - our mission is to take action by researching, defining and advocating for quality healthcare in communities of color that is equal to, or above society standards.

Additionally, we strive to educate the community on spiritual values under the direction of Second Missionary Baptist Church, a church with a five-fold purpose consisting of: exaltation, evangelism, education, empowerment and expanding. As one of the WAATPN partners, the RMR SMBC Project is working with the state of Wisconsin to help you and your community become  tobacco-free.
